The Paint Line Painter Is a valuable part of the process to create high-quality commercial roofing accessory products at the plant.
Responsibilities include various rotating duties relating to departmental operations.
The Paint Line Operator partners with other operators, department lead and the supervisor to establish and maintain an environment where safety, quality, service and cost are the highest priorities.
Essential Duties Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Operates a wide variety of simple one step or one-process machines to manufacture ventilation or specialty products.
Keeps track of production on daily schedule control sheets and other production reports.
Tracks downtime of equipment and production.
Responsible for keeping supervisor informed of production problems, which could be material, machine or personnel related.
Responsible for conformance of production with plant standards of safety, quality, production and efficiency.
Inspects equipment for operating efficiency.
Cleans, performs basic maintenance, and makes minor repairs or specified operating adjustments to equipment.
Cleans and maintains work areas in accordance with plant standards.
Physical Demands- Frequent standing, walking, and reaching for up to 4 hours without sitting Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
on a frequent basis Ability to pass a Respiratory Medical Evaluation Questionnaire Prior Experience- Must have prior experience using commercial spray painters, powder coating sprayers, or relevant equipmen Recommended Skills Maintenance Respiratory Systems Ventilation Powder Coating Safety Principles Painting Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
