Electronic Technician - Maintenance

Hourly Rate: $21.72-$27.49


We are currently seeking a skilled ELECTRO/MECHANICALTECHNICIAN for our Burgaw, NC facility.???


Job responsibilities:


Install and repair of a wide variety of complex electrical/electronic/mechanical equipment including automatic machines and process controls; plan and install primary and secondary controls; diagnose electrical/electronic/mechanical problems and make final repairs.


Education/Experience


Qualified candidates must have Allen Bradley PLC programming and troubleshooting experience. ?


An associate's degree in electronics is required (relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree), plus a minimum of 3 year's experience doing planning, layout, installation and repair of a wide variety of complex electrical/electronic/mechanical equipment including automatic machines and process controls.


Candidates must be able to work with minimal supervision to meet deadlines and adapt to changing work demand, be flexible and available and available to work overtime on short notice.


Physical Demands and Work Environment


While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required regularly required to stand, and walk. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, feel objects, tools, and/or controls. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must be able to lift up to 50lbs. This is a hands-on position that requires ability to work as a team as will as individual, being results oriented, attention to details and able to multi-task in a demanding and fast paced environment.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
